Class Registration

students working in class

We believe in Packer Pride: Today. Tomorrow. Forever. That starts with students and families taking charge of creating a roadmap for success. As an International Baccalaureate school, students benefit from a wide variety of course offerings, all designed to help them discover their strengths and interests as they develop knowledge, skills, and passion leading toward a career and/or college pathway.

High School students at South St. Paul Secondary register for classes in the winter of the year prior, grades 8-11. We've created a Course Guide to help students navigate their choices for class registration and help them prepare for the rest of their journey in high school. Whether students plan to enter the workforce or attend a 4-year college after high school, we can help prepare them for life after graduation. Packer Pathways and the Course Guide can help students align their interests with their future goals and set out a plan to achieve them.

Students may have to change course during their high school journey, and that is OK. The goal of high school to is to create experiences allowing students to grow, find their strengths, and explore future options. If students or families have any questions or need help creating a plan, connect with SSP High School teachers, counselors, or our career and college advisor.
